Comfort, style, function are GO! Jan 07, 2010
Over time I have become a fan of laceless dual gore slip-on boots. Researching [purchasing]different brands has taught me a bit about fit, fabrication, and function.
The Ariat Dillon boot looks good,feels very good on the heel, arch, and ball of the feet(though a bit snug about the grand metatarsal),and is well custioned with "ATS" technology... the boot has a thumpin' big cushiony insole that is quite unique! In fact, it is possible that this insole is what causes it to fit a little snug. I wear 8.5-9M...I ordered a 9.
...it is quite snug but i am wearing thicker socks for this time of year so i suspect that THAT plus break in will adjust them smartly. I am a still and video photographer and I generally walk and stand a good bit so i was a little tender after the first day. in the 3 days since (up to the present), I have noticed they are much more comfortable...
These boots are well worth the price and more...
