Excellent motorcycle boots Aug 21, 2010
I've been using these boots for about a year and I can recommend this without question for all bikers that like me need to have dress casual boots for every day commuting on a motorcycle.
Waterproof is excellent, and when you drive a motorcycle on rainy days you need full waterproof.
Also they look great so I don't even have to change shoes if I'm going to a meeting.

Simply put, this is a great shoe. It's comfortable, light weight, warm and the waterproofing makes it great for snow or rain. If I had a complaint, it's a little slippery on icy surfaces but then most shoes are. And it looks good enough to wear to work with khakis when I dress casual.

The waterproof DeSoto boot from Clarks is an instant classic...
On day one these felt great...no break in period! They come with a soft lined cushioned insole and tend to run a little larger than size so an add'l insole or orthotic would do you well.
This boot uses a zip mechanism to sinch it closed...it does not seem to have a locking function to it but they have yet to unsim on me even when jogging a distance. The rubberised toecap is a great feathure if you happen to beal with crowds or light equipment...
Clarks has a cavalcade of interesting styles...many of which combine good looks and solid construction which equals positive function!
I am a Clarks DeSoto boot owner and I approve this review...
