This shoe is constructed very well, although one of the seams on the inside of the heal has a rough spot which I was able to fix with a soft mallet. I have a very narrow foot so the shoes are a little loose, however I will only wear this shoe for a few hours at a time, fits my purpose fine.

Very comfy but need adjustment to fit well Mar 07, 2010
These shoes are very comfortable (lots of cushion in the footbed, soft leather, etc.), but the sizing of the shoe is a little odd. I ordered a 7M, which should've been about perfect. The front part of the shoe fit so snugly that I had to switch from standard dress socks to very thin "trouser socks." The heel area, in contrast, seems big. I had to buy some of those self-adhesive heel cushions to put in the back of the shoe to keep my heel from sliding up/down with every step. After these adjustments, however, they fit fine, look great, and transition well across casual and casual-dress events. I will look for Clarks Artisan shoes again, but would prefer to try them on in person to ensure fit.

 Most comfortable shoes - EVER! Nov 26, 2009
I'm a big fan of Clark's shoes. I'm a teacher and thus on my feet a lot during the day. Sneakers are not an option but these are the next best thing. Worth every penny!
