 Most comfortable slippers I've ever owned! Apr 11, 2010
I had a pair several years ago, and didn't replace them. But my husband needed new ones and so we each got a pair--now I remember why I liked them so much-really, really comfy, the little rubber dots on the soles keep me from sliding on my wood floors, they breathe since they're a natural material (so my feet don't sweat), and they last a long time. Worth every penny, and the amazon.com vendor I bought them from had a great price! These make a wonderful gift for someone who has everything. :-) I might really indulge someday and get a pair with rubber soles so I can wear them outside to get the newspaper.

I love these slippers. I first found them when suffering from plantar facieitis (sp?) and was told going barefoot was not good for me. These offer the arch support that I need. I have worn no other slipper since then, and all of my family wear them also. Even though I cannot wear wool, the slippers do not seem to bother me. The one with the rubber bottoms are sturdy enough to wear outside with the dog, or to get the paper. I won't be without them.

I first bought these pressed wool slippers at least 10 years ago. Since, they have been in a rotation for my three daughters, one of their husbands and my significant other. While not a creative gift, they would be really disappointed if I didn't get them as all would love to wear them 100% of the time. BTW - i take care of myself buying a pair my size too.
They wear about a year or two winter seasons. they are too hot for the summer. They stretch a little bit and mold to your foot after about 2 weeks of wear and from then on, they are the greatest footwear there is. They are worth the price.

This was purchased as a Christmas gift for a daughter-in-law. It was perfect! Good indoor traction on hard wood floors and comfy.

This is my second pair of Haflingers, I now can't make it through the winter without them. The last ones lasted about 2 years with regular wearing. They are true to size and have a bit of arch support. Warm and cosy, and they come in so many colors. I wear a 9.5-10 shoe, and I can wear the size 41 slippers with or without socks, they fit wonderfully.
