greatest slippers Mar 07, 2010
I have had this slipper in many different colors over the years. Although a tiny bit snug during first try-on, they stretch a little very quickly and I think they are the best slipper I have ever owned. They are very comfortable and cute, too. Lots of color options.

This is my second Haflinger slipper in the same funky color. The "clog" style really appeals to me but the clincher is the sole of the slipper. The majority of slippers have a rubber non-skid sole, which I dislike. The sole of the Haflinger is unique, perfect, and the selling point for me.

I agree 100% with the previous review by Don of Rochester. I have owned my slippers in the Chianti color for 5 years and also wear them year round. I love these slippers, and am finally in need of new pair. Well worth the price.

Don't let the price scare you. My wife has worn these every day for the past 5 years. I just had to order her a new pair. I'm not kidding when I say every day. Spring, summer, fall and Winter, they're always on her feet in the house. She has high arches and these are the only slippers I've ever seen with arch support. I can say that the quality is surpassed by none, and it boggles my mind that they're not more recognized. I guess the price could scare some people off but if you are a slipper person it's a no brainer. If you want a slipper that can take a beating, is warm, comfortable, wool throughout, and looks great, these are for you. They reak of quality and last a longtime.
