Low Quality and High Price! Jan 17, 2010 These shoes cost about $90 and Timberland can not even cough up the $2 to waterproof them. To add insult to injury, the footbeds are as thin as a piece of paper.
One could buy Rockport, Nunn Bush, Florsheim, Deer Stags, etc. all for a lower price and all of them would be more comfortable and waterproofed!

Lightweight and comfortable Dec 07, 2009 These boots are great. They are lightweight, waterproof and comfortable. Only had for a week so cannot comment on durability but construction appears sound and there are no defects. The way the tongue is designed they are not waterproof past the midpoint of the ankle, but would only be a problem for immersion beyond that point.

Could be better Dec 04, 2009 I bought these boots to replace another pair of Timberland hiking boots, but I'm less than thrilled. These shoes are Ok, but could use some improvements.
The shoes don't have enough padding around the ankle, and could use more.
I'll try the Hi-Tec Altitude IV. The Hi-Tec's seem to have more positive reviews.
